Americans and foreign names (Kurnikova, Sharapova)

Well, they're at it again. Had I not known how to pronounce a foreign name, I would have asked. Not those journos. (Wait: maybe they did ask, but they've asked the same moron who told them Ann Kurnikova's last name is pronounced as koo-r-nee-'ko-va, when it's 'koo-r-ni-ko-va). Now, Wimbledon champ Sharapova is sher-ra-'po-va. Listen, arsehats, it's sha-'ra-po-va!!!
