Patience IS virtue

While reading the "Destiny Doll" by Clifford Simak (in Russian translation), started thinking about how hard it is to teach children to love reading. In good books, nothing really happens at once. One has to have patience to accumulate enough of the world an author creates to get gripped by their creation... Reward is, however, worth all that and then some. I'm re-reading this novel. Last 've read it, what, twelve years ago? Almost starting to get too excited to get to the climax of the story...
